That's right!  Instant notification on your desktop when a new work order arrives or a new appointment time slot is requested.  myServiceWidget works with myServicePRO, myServiceACE and myServiceScheduler. Improve your cycle time, customer satisfaction with quick responses and overall efficiency of your service business.

myServiceWidget is a small icon sitting in your system tray (bottom right corner) that serves as a notification system for myServiceForce software. As with all of our products we are interested in your feedback on myServiceWidget.  Please let us know what you would like to see as this powerful tool evolves.

A Message from Sean Marzola – myServiceForce.com Vice President of Business Development

A couple of months ago I got a phone call from a Service Contractor who was struggling in his business.  While this is not an uncommon theme among numerous small businesses across our economically challenged nation, this one surprised me a bit.  I was pretty close with this company and I hadn’t anticipated to hear of their struggles.  

I have a deep passion for what we do here at mSF.  Combined with my overall closeness to this specific Contractor, I launched into a full analysis of what I would do if I were running a Residential Home Services Business, regardless of trade type.  When I sent him my write up, he called me and said it literally changed his entire perspective on how he was going to go about changing his business (and this was a 2nd generation, family run business that’s been around for 30+ years).

After that exchange, and subsequent follow ups, I wondered if I could produce a White Paper that could help anyone in this space run their business in a more balanced, more efficient, more productive manner.  I’m very excited to bring you these ideas as well.

It’s not a big investment, but it could be a huge impact on your business.  There is at least 1 idea in there to help your business.

myServicePad Software Update Available Now! (2.0.4.0)

myServiceForce is excited to announce the release of software version 2.0.4.0 for the myServicePad.  This update brings a number of important upgrades to your technician's experience.  Below please find a list of the new features and fixes:

  1. Auto Update - We have implemented a feature that will notify you if there is a new update available for download.  After today's update you will no longer need to uninstall and re-install the myServicePad software for each release!
  2. The amount entered in the "Amount Collected" field will now appear on emails/printouts.
  3. Issue where Service History notes occasionally did not appear on emails/printouts has been fixed.
  4. Splash screen - User now gets the hourglass indicator when tapping on a selection.  This way, you will KNOW you tapped

Do you know about Service Agreements in myServicePRO?  Service Agreements allow you to auto-generate a work order, so that, when the time comes, there is a reminder and all you have to do is assign it to one of your techs.  Learn more about Service Agreements in our recorded webinar section available HERE.
