myServicePRO  Field Device Options

myServicePRO software uses data services supplied by any cellular carrier to send and receive work orders and customer information. It works with data ready smart phones and PDA’s that use Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 6.0 or 6.5 and has a touch screen, as well as Windows-based Tablets and Laptop PC's. When it comes to myServicePro you have many options in terms of what your technicians will use in the field but we suggest implementation of the myServicePad in order to unleash the power of the mobile internet for your field force.

Tablet PC and Laptop Options

To use all of the features of FieldMasterPro’s Field Software you must have a touch sensitive screen, i.e. a Tablet PC and access to the Internet, generally through a USB Cellular Connection. This is especially true if you intend to "Go Paperless" and capture customer approval signatures on the device. It also makes it easier to use the convenient pull down screens for rapid data entry. For these reasons we strongly recommend our myServicePad however any windows based laptop can work as a field device.

Internet Access

Access to the internet requires a cellular USB modem, WiFi, or Ethernet connection. Once accessed, myServicePad supports the following functions:

  • Access to all myServicePRO services including Office Functions
    • Receive and work customer orders.
    • Full statement and invoice processing.
    • Complete customer history.
    • Voice and data communication including full picture and video modes.
    • Customer billing and collections services.
    • e-mail to support customer and invoicing communications.


Cellular Phones/PDA's

myServicePro's Field Technician software uses data services supplied by any cellular carrier to send and recieve work order and customer information. It works with data ready smart phones and PDA’s that use Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 6.0 or later and has a touch screen.

myServicePRO uses very little data transmission and there are many plans from which you can choose ranging from $5 to $25 per month. However, we generally recommend and unlimited data plan in order to eliminate the potential for high cost due to data overruns from other on-line uses, e.g. surfing the internet or e-mail.
