Whenever a work order is created, it is automatically given a unique number which allows for easier tracking of the life of the work order.  Work orders are also stamped, indicating the date and time on which they were created and who created them.  Each work order can even be automatically designated as being in a certain geographic region (zone).

Work orders may be created for service that day, or they may be created for future service – next day, next month, next year.  And if you have a job that will take several days, this is not a problem.  You may create one work order and keep assigning that work order until the job is done.  An advantage of this is that you can easily see a history of all the work that was done over the time span of that work order.  The myServiceForce.com work order tools are flexible, and will meet all your needs.
