Aereon Solutions Brings Field Service Automation to QuickBooks® 2003 Users
PRINCETON, NJ, May 13th, 2003 – Aereon Solutions has introduced FieldMaster Pro, a solution designed to bring the tremendous benefits of Field Service Automation to users of QuickBooks 2003. FieldMaster Pro, a completely Internet based service dispatch and management system that communicates wirelessly (and non-wirelessly) with rugged handheld PDA’s, enables small and mid-sized Service Contractors, as well as other service companies with technicians, to automate manual processes associated with dispatching work orders, recording data in the field, getting information collected in the field back to the office, and finally logging that information into QuickBooks 2003.
FieldMaster Pro requires absolutely no hardware installation, and calls for service contractors to have nothing but a high-speed Internet connection in place to get started.

FieldMaster Pro dispatches work order details, customer information, equipment lists, service history and much more to a technician’s rugged handheld PDA. Technicians can then utilize the PDA to access task checklists, record service notes, scan-in billable items, and collect the customer’s signature. When the job is done, all captured information is sent back to FieldMaster Pro for immediate processing.
The integration with QuickBooks 2003 enables the service company to close out service tickets as they come back from the field, and with a click of a mouse send those closed tickets into QuickBooks 2003 as completed invoices. At the same time, inventory gets depleted automatically allowing the service company to keep close tabs on stocked parts and materials.
“FieldMaster Pro enables QuickBooks users to increase the productivity of their technicians in field, while increasing the efficiency of their support staff in the office,” said Bleistein. “The end result is an increase in revenue with a major decrease in operating costs occurring at the same time”
A low ‘per-user’ monthly service fee is charged for use of FieldMaster Pro, which includes wireless airtime charges, all version upgrades, and support. ‘Lease-to-buy’ programs are in place for the rugged handheld PDA’s and related accessories.
