Aereon Solutions announces the general availability of Aereon Mobilize Version 3.0.
Princeton, NJ. April 15, 2002. Aereon Solutions LLC, a leading provider of wireless service optimization solutions to the HVAC, plumbing, electrical contracting and construction companies, announces the general availability of Aereon Mobilize Version 3.0. the latest in Aereon's line of field service automation products.
Mobilize 3.0, a software application running on ruggedized wireless handheld devices, leverages the contractors existing business management infrastructure by adding real-time communications with field technicians. By providing these service technicians timely access to data from dispatch systems, work orders, inventory, equipment logs, maintenance history, service contract details and warranty coverage while in the field, and by capturing data in the field about work performed and time and materials used, Mobilize 3.0 will deliver a real and demonstrable return on investment. Additionally, the application will act as a conduit to inform the sales department of new sales opportunities based on information collected by the on-site technician. "These enhancements were driven by feed back from a large number of service contractors who are seeking to improve their operations," said Nigel Gardner, Chief Operating Officer of Aereon Solutions.
Mobilize Version 3.0 Highlights
The notable new features of Aereon Mobilize include: an improved and easier to navigate user interface, remote installation of software, sales opportunity capture and EPA compliant refrigerant recovery documentation.
Aereon Solutions has put a tremendous emphasis on the ease of use of the software while maintaining the highest level of security and data integrity. Aereon has minimized the need for technical support by automating the software update/upgrade process. When enhancements are made to the software, the technician does not need to come to the office to get his or her mobile device updated. Once initiated from the head office, Aereon Mobilize 3.0 will provide wireless updates to the application software without any further user interaction. This feature dramatically reduces the time and resources needed to upgrade the software.
Another new and noteworthy feature is refrigerant and fluid recovery logging. The EPA requires recovery of refrigerant and certain fluids to be documented according strict guidelines. Mobilize 3.0 includes an EPA form to record all necessary information regarding this activity, including identification of the equipment that was the source. Contractors can view the recovery statistics by customer or by individual piece of equipment.
Mobilize 3.0 improves productivity, saves costs, provides better data and more timely billing, as well as helping in the generation of additional revenue by collecting information about new sales opportunities.
Mobilize 3.0 can be integrated with most contractor business management systems in place today, or comes with its own integrated business management solution for the smaller contractor.
